This privacy statement describes how "we" (Michaels Inc. and third parties (Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Google Plus, Twitter, Facebook, and our web host server at BigCommerce.com)) collect and use the personal and non-personal information that you may provide us.

Personal Information

Michaels Inc. will not share your personal information with any third parties, except:

Non-personal Information

As is true of most websites, both michaels.ca's web hosting servers and Google Analytics automatically collect information about your computer such as your IP address, browser type, referring websites, your landing and exit pages, the length of time that you spend on michaels.ca and your operating system type. We can only access aggregate information; we are unable to determine any personally identifiable information about any particular user. This data is collected from michaels.ca's web hosting servers at bigcommerce.com and by Google in the United States of America.

We disabled scripts on the Google Plus, Twitter, and Facebook buttons on the michaels.ca home page and on this privacy policy page, so that these third parties may not obtain any personal identifiable information from you until you have made a decision to enter into the rest of the website or click on those links.

Cookies are used to collect general usage and volume statistical information that does not include personal information. Google may place cookies on your computer to collect non-personally identifiable information to compile aggregated statistics for us about the visitors to our site and they may also use local storage on your browser as newer browsers may permit.

• We have implement Google Analytics features that are based on Display Advertising (e.g., Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, the DoubleClick Campaign Manager integration, or Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting).
• Visitors can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads using the Ads Settings.
